2010 TBF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Ponca City, Okla. (Jan. 26, 2010) – The Bass Federation announced today that the Tennessee Valley Authority and Roane County, Tenn., will host the 2010 The Bass Federation National Championship presented by the National Guard. The event will be held April 22-24 on Watts Bar Lake. It’s the culmination of more than two years of qualifiers for most of the 30,000 anglers that are members of TBF in the United States and Canada. The TBF Maine qualifier for the 2010 Junior Angler
National Championship was held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Little Ossipee lake on Route 5 in East Waterboro. the weather was wet and cool and the fish were not cooperating, however a few bass were weighed in.
Congrats to Kaitlyn & Nick Deering, the sister/brother duo for winning this years event. Kaitlyn and Nick each weighed in one fish to seal the deal. The siblings will be off to Atlanta, Georgia in 2010 to compete in the Championship event. Good luck to both of you!
